Pretzel Dessert

The most amazing dessert in all of history! One of them, that is =).

You will need:
2c. crushed pretzels
1/2c. melted butter
3/4c. sugar
8oz. cream cheese (softened)
1/2c. powdered sugar
12oz. whipped topping
Pie filling/thickened fruit (I recommend strawberries!)

Mix together in a 9x13 pan, the pretzels, sugar and butter. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Squoosh the rest of the mixture out in the bottom of the pan and refrigerate. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. "Fold" in whipped topping. Spread half the mixture on the pretzel crust. Spread on the fruit, then blob on the rest of the cream mixture (it certainly does not spread on!). Finish it off with that reserved pretzel mixture, and refrigerate for... an indefinite period of time =). I think the recipe says 3 hours or something like that. I also tried freezing a piece of it last time I made it, and it was amazing that way! Almost better than the original! Whichever your preference is!

I know! "Squoosh", "blob", and "indefinite periods of time" make recipes so much more official sounding! =)
